一心素食, Chinatown

To-date, in my opinion, Best replica of mock products would be the vegetarian prawn or sotong balls. This could be because the actual product also added in the flour component.
Luring non-vegetarians to agree vegetarian food taste as good & alike, one could consider the fried prawn balls, coated with breadcrumbs, well fried, without disclosing it as the non-vegetarian version, one can hardly tell the difference. The crispy fried vermicelli besides the balls as garnish played also a part in enhancing the flavour of the dish.

Another dish being recommended by the staff, the fried abalone mushroom with lemon sauce.
The lemon sauce on top reduces the oiliness taste of the fried mushrooms, also a dish easily accepted by all. If an additional saucer of lemon sauce made available to dip separately for those who love it, it would had added more points.

Located at a coffeeshop at 39 Temple Street, 一心素食 is just near centre of street opp Lucky Chinatown, beside stretch where the corner has many nice stone carving statues. Opening hours: 8am to 10pm Daily.
